My child’s hair. Well, there really are no words to describe it. If you mated a bird’s nest with a Brillo pad, the offspring would have softer and silkier hair than my child. When I wash it and spray the anti-knot serum in it, perfection. When she sleeps and rubs her head against her sheets, nightmare. She wakes up with a halo of fro which is, to be perfectly honest, a little bit unsettling.
She also has hybrid hair. Half of her hair is straight and smooth; the other half is Brillo pad-esque. I guess she’s a perfect 50/50 of her dad and me. I’m sure you can guess where she got the Brillo pad fro from – yours truly, ahem. So, I apologize to my child for passing along my fro gene. Please don’t be bitter, sweet lil’ Anna. And please don’t be mad that I’m posting these pictures of you.
View from the top: The back is bird nest spawn, the front is an ad for Thermasilk. See what I mean? Note: I did not touch her hair when she woke up – this is how it looks every single morning before I spray it down with cement to keep it from doing this in public.
View from the back: This comb over would do Donald Trump proud. You’re fired!
Side view: How many flocks of seagulls are hiding up in there?
I don’t think Anna has any problems with her hair.
I love how the sun hits her fro in this picture. Very artistic.
I spy a piece of grass in this photo. It’s like Where’s Waldo. Except you’re trying to find a piece of grass. For the record, I have no idea how she has grass in her hair.
This is Anna’s solution for a bad hair day. Oh, and I’ve figured out a way to get her to eat now – let her sit in my office chair with a bowl – just like mom does. Please send my Mom of the Year medals ASAP!

LOL this cracks me up!
Tarynn's hair is stick straight on top and curly on the bottom. When I put her hair in the pony it looks so funny. The bottom half of the pony curls under and the top sticks straight out like Alfalfa.
Crazy hair or not, she is still ridiculously cute! I find my girls eat better anywhere but IN their highchairs. I give up!
Too funny, I know when she wakes from her nap some days it looks pretty wild...LOL! We all have bad hair days esp. me with this grey wiry yuck on top my head...hahahahahaha
It used to take my mom hours and screaming to brush my curly mess when I was little. I am already feeling sympathy pains for Anna as an adolescent.
I thought Amelia was the only one w/ hair like this! Every day after being in the car seat it is a rat nest in the back. :-/
She's like Kate Gosselin -- all business in the front, party in the back! LMAO! She's still adorable!
This is Audrey's hair exactly - except she has a bald spot from her helmet. Poor thing.
My girl has the exact same hair!!!
And she only lets me brush it if she's watching a cartoon, otherwise her screams shatter the glass around here...
What do you spray in Anna's hair?
