When I was a young lad, I used to have a subscription to some children’s magazine – I forget the name. In that magazine, there were games and riddles and things of interest to a girl my age. One of my favorite things was to look through the “What’s wrong with this picture?” page to find issues. There would be random and odd things buried deep within the picture, and it would take me lots of time to find all of the errors. My mom probably got me this subscription for that very reason – it kept me entertained for hours on end.
So, why am I bringing this up in my old age?
I just had a wicked flashback to my youth, and the picture below is why. See anything...odd?

I bet the magazine was "Highlights."
I think the magazine you are describing is highlights. It was a lot of fun. My favorite was finding the needle or whatever object they hid. :-)
well first i thought it was that the little girl looked like she had some sort of carrot shaped dagger, and that santa needs to watch out, but then i noticed that santa appears to be smoking... lovely. i hope it's a joint. that would make it sooo much better!
