Maybe it's the fact that I really don't want him to win, but there was a little smugness there last night that makes me think he thinks he has this in the bag.
Kris for the win! I was able to vote for him only 3 times last night, and I called for over an hour. That's a good sign, right?

I haven't really watched AI this year but I've paid attention enough to know I don't like to watch Adam's tongue hang out of his mouth. I did watch it last night and I vote for Kris via text message.

I like them both and find them both so talented but in different ways. I actually thought the second song Adam sang was his best of the season. But that said, I am rooting for Kris. Although I would LOVE to see Adam perform in a theatre/broadway show, I would probably not be buying his cd or downloading his tunes. Kris on the other hand, I probably would! I tried calling in and voting for Kris many times last night..and never could get through. Guess we will just see tonight!! I'm excited either way though! I think and hope that both will have great careers ahead!
I have actually already downloaded a few of Kris songs on itunes. I can see myself buying his albums for a long time. I would not spend a penny on a song of Adams.
Grady - my ABSOLUTE favorite Kris Allen song is belong. I was literally paralyzed when he was singing it. I'm listening to it now and have chills on top of chills. So, yes, I will definitely be buying anything he releases in the future!

I agree, I think he did an amazing job with "Falling Slowly"! It is one of my favorite songs anyway and I know it is a difficult song to sing, not to mention not everyone knows of it. I loved it though!!!
Oh and I LOVED "Heartless" last night! Definitely downloading that one!!
Nat, I am a Kris fan too! Adam is too over the top, too dramatic, too screechy for me! He has a strong vocal, no doubt, but its much better suited for theater than pop music!
Kris has a nice sound, a nice style, and is so marketable as an artist. I really hope he wins!
